Making playful things with heart, smarts and style.

Background

Before launching my own independent studio, I worked for many years as a designer and production artist with such companies as Motion Theory, Exopolis and Shilo. Here I cut my teeth helping to design, animate and develop vfx for commercials and music videos for Beck, REM and Velvet Revolver.

After many years working in visual effects, I shifted into tactile animation and started Practice, where I continue to produce and direct.

How I work

I currently work as an independent and freelance director, as well as co-direct and produce through my animation collective, Practice. I’m able to lead and manage a project start to finish, or work alongside a larger team in-house.

About Me.

I’m a designer, director and animator making tactile, playful creations that bring joy and positivity. I’m passionate about using design and art to teach kids, young and old, to see the world in a new way, and to make a difference. My work ranges from cute bits for Sesame Street and Nick Jr to (mostly) grown up commercials and campaigns for brands and organizations.
